Notice for Open Offices

FERRY COUNTY, WASHINGTON

TUESDAY, AUGUST 6, 2024

The following positions are to be filled at the Primary and/or General Election this year. The Primary will be August 6, 2024 with these changes filing period has been moved to May. Please make sure to take special attention to the following dates. The filing period will be from May 6th^th through May 10^th, both dates inclusive. If you are filing by mail the Declaration of Candidacy’s can be downloaded from the Secretary of States website: http://www.sos.wa.gov/elections/candidates.aspx . Candidates that are filing on-line during filing week can file from 9:00am on Monday May 6^th to 4:00pm on Friday May 10^th. Filing in person will be completed online in the Auditor’s office Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Mail-in forms may be received by mail no earlier than April 22^nd but must reach the Auditor’s Office no later than 4:00 p.m. on May 10, 2024.

There will be a special 3 day filing period Wednesday through Friday, May 15^th at 8:00 am. through May 17^th at 5:00 pm. for positions not filled during the regular filing period except for PCO’S. The lot drawing for positions on the Primary Ballot will be held on Friday May 10, 2024 at 5:05 p.m. in the Ferry County Auditor’s Office.
